About Kids Dental Sydney

Kids Dental Sydney is a trusted, child-friendly paediatric dental practice dedicated to making every dental visit a fun, safe, and positive experience.

Founded on a gentle approach to children’s oral health, the practice is entering an exciting new chapter. Following the retirement of Dr Nita Pai on 18 November 2026, the clinic will be proudly led by Associate Professor Harleen Kumar.

A/Prof Harleen is a highly qualified Paediatric Dental Specialist. She trained at the University of Melbourne and Harvard School of Dental Medicine. After almost four years of working at Harvard school of Dental Medicine, and Boston Children’s Hospital, she returned home to work in Sydney-in both the public and private sector. For the past 10 years, A/Prof Harleen has held the position of Head of Department at Sydney Dental Hospital. Alongside her clinical practice, she has also continued her role with The University of Sydney and serves as a member of multiple advisory committees across NSW.

She shares our strict dedication to providing a gentle, welcoming, and high-quality dental experience for your children. The familiar clinical staff and front desk team will remain with the practice to ensure continuity of care.
